Welcome To The Golfview Hills Women’s Club Page

The Golfview Hills Women’s club is a group of ambitious, and dedicated women striving for a better community through service projects, social events and philanthropic support. Organized over 50 years ago by a group of 17 women, the Club takes great pride in the many accomplishments achieved over the years.Membership is offered to any woman on payment of annual dues of $20.00 In its early years, the Women’s Club assumed much of the work now done by the Golfview Hills Homes Association. Designing and installing playground equipment in Zimmerman Parkwas among its first projects, and in recent years the Club has contributed funds for additional playground equipment, a flagpole, park benches, picnic tables, the Zimmerman Pavilion, landscaping and entrance sign lighting. The Club provides scholarship awards for qualified Golfview students, aid to families at Christmas time, and donations to nursing homes and shelters for those in need. Among social and community events sponsored by the Women’s Club are the Fourth of July Parade float, the mid-winter social event and activities for children such as Halloween and Christmas parties and an Easter Egg hunt. In addition, club members may join various interest groups. The Guide to Golfview Hills is published annually, with the help of the Golfview Hills Homes Association, to furnish information about the Women’s Club, the Homes Association, the Park District, the local fire and police protection and community activities. The View, the Women’s Club newsletter, is distributed monthly except during July and August to keep residents informed of matters of Community interest. Golfview Hills is truly a unique community. The Golfview Hills Women’s Club is proud to be one of the organizations working to better Golfview for the residents of this very special place.
